QNAP NAS - any users?
Well I've just done it - I have finally ordered a QNAP TS-809 Pro Turbo NAS
I was wondering if anyone uses any of the QNAP NAS boxes and in particular was interested to hear about any QPKG apps that you use or would recommend. For those that don't know about QNAP (and don't want to read the details in the link): The QNAP is a *nix based 8 slot SATAII NAS box and has the ability to run certain *nix apps such as web server, torrent client, FTP etc etc. The main purpose will obviously be centralised storage for my home network (4TB to start - 3 x 2TB drives, with a target of 14TB - 8 x 2TB drives, all in raid 5) So if you have one or know anything about them please speak up!!
