The Green Team?

Something i do find interesting is how loyal people are to any particular company,
History lesson 101: Microsoft originally were ready to release DX10, they had to 'retract' it and remove some components as NVidia couldn't produce cards which would conform, the 'cut-down' version of DX10 was released and they followed this with DX10.1 (which included the full DX10 instruction set) which only ATi cards could run (at the time) the 'Big-Green' have only just released cards to conply with the DX10.1 format ....will there new 300 series cards be fast...almost certainly.....will they have a complete feature set...who knows.....ATi are there already and have a few months headstart so no doubt NVidia will regain the crown.......but most of us, look at the 'bangs-per-buck' and this in mind ATi should do well. IMO

oh and BTW Happy Xmas to all (red and Green!! )

Lol.

The price to produce a Fermi chip is way more higher then an Cyprus or Hemlock-chip. Ati is way more 'bang for the buck' and the way Nvidia is having Yield-problems, it aint going cheap at all. Like 10% of all yields is able to be produced for graphics-purposals, even tho the core is stripped to 448 ones instead of 512 and almost withdraws up to 300 watts, its going to be a very long ride before the fermi would be called a succes...

All that there is are specs, rumors, and an ignorant nvidia by saying fermi would be the blast.

Just got two I said two Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X video cards. I don't care about Nvidia even if they blow ATI out of the water all that matters is that I'm DX11 ready. Ha!

the guys that had the problems with that model are now having fun with them, Kei is Impressed by their overall performance, I feel like picking them up myself.

Hehe
I think a lot of people that voted for "Waiting on Nvidia" had changed their mind , and some already got their HD 5xxx as we speak , a pity you can't re-vote , reset your previous vote and vote for another.
