Logitech has a few ps2 controllers But, I feel that a xbox controller is better suited for FPS games.

or if you have a old Xbox(original) controller laying around you can cut the wires off of the plug and splice a USB connector on it http://www.fury-tech.com/en/Guides/X...Conversion-Mod

BTW i can confirm that the drivers in the link DO work on Windows 7 without a problem

Thanks, I have one modded laying around from XP days, I may just pull it back out and dust it off for some action again.

Currently using the ChillStream.

wired i think... I don't think a wireless one can connect to the computer in anyway

EDIT:you can use this if you want to use a wireless (i only see it useful if you already own a wireless one)

wired will work right off the bat...
wireless needs a special adapter that you get with the controller...

Well to be honest, you never specified what you needed a controller for. I assumed you meant PC.

Logitech, Microsoft, and a number of other vendors make controllers for Windows PC's. There are options out their, but the Xbox 360 controller is (from what I understand) the best option. It is tough, durable, works perfectly with no need to worry with drivers, and has the Microsoft bias on its side (MS built Win7 and Vista to work with it better than other controllers...on purpose).

I personally say get the Logitech PC controllers cause of my conspiracy theory above. Also a very good option and seems to be the only option left on the market unless you want a flight joystick. I don't use a controller on my PC except for my emulators.

If you are going to get a wireless one, you will need the PC-usb dongle that picks up the signal from the gamepad.

I have heard that any bluetooth receiver should be able to take the signal from the wireless controller but I would imagine that getting it to work would take some technical expertise.

Probs best sticking with Wired, that way, you dont need to buy batteries and/or a charge kit for it.

360 controllers cant sync with bluetooth adaptors, i tried.

if you go wireless, you do need that adaptor.
