Nukulear, or Nukular? LOL.

How are those together? I haven't read a review but hearsay it's a powerful mix.

I am finishing up my new comp to take advantage of them.

I tried one in my backup comp (X2 4200,1 gig ddr) but it was terrible (didnt like XP, the only driver that I could use was the one on the installation disk)

Im sure they are gonna be fine (just dont get them if you use XP), my new comp is gonna use Win 7 64.

By law they can't charge till the item is shipping, AFAIK. Call them - if that'll do you any good.

I did call them to cancel my order. I'll give them 24 hours, then I take action. The card I ordered was in stock, now they're saying it's not but took my money anyways. If they are going to act like crooks, they will be treated as such. Oh well, now I know never to use ZipZoomFly.com. Businesses with practices such as this don't deserve any business.

I've never had an issue with them... but apparently, they've gone way downhill recently:

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/ZipZoomFly

(Recent 6-month rating of 5.41/10) !!!

Hope you get it resolved.

Oh crap, I think I suggested leaving a rating on RR if someone was unhappy with ZZF. If they are 5.41 they could care less if there's another bad review

I just got my 5770s from them overnight and no probs, "BUT" I knew that if I have an RMA its a crap shoot.
Their CS really does suck, but their prices make it worth it to me to take a chance. (+ they are closer to me than the egg so I get stuff faster)

Like I said in my first post when I see "nonrefundable" and other conditions I dont care how cheap it is it buggs me.

Damn Powercolor 5850 at Newegg shows up as live, but look at cart and get:

"Powercolor AX5850 1GBD5-MDHG has been removed from shopping cart due to quantity limitation/insufficient stock. Some combo items might be affected by this."

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...on%20HD%205850

Newegg is good, but suffers from back-end inventory/front end communication delays like most.

not really that much a success right now, since the 40nm chip has such a high defect rate, ATI has a great difficulty manufacturing all the 5800 cards, so unless something is doing about the 40nm chip waffle, I dont think ATI will have a lot success by the end of this year.

Radeon 5xxx availability and "TSMC" yields...

A lot of people keep throwing around the "TSMC" term and yields, so I looked it up.

Here's the most recent article I could find about it (Edit: Nov 9th):

I'm going to try to sell 4870 in a few weeks, then get a 5850 with that money (plus some more) after Christmas, since they're supposed to drop in price a lil bit.

These prices are silly
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150447

I paid $149 (and I thought that was too much)

I see the 5970s there now...

I wouldn't count on any price drops due to lack of competition. If anything, prices will most likely go up since the closer we get to the hollidays the more demand is going to go up.
