This game is coming out today in North America and throughout the week in the rest of the world. It is published by EA Games for Windows, PS3, and Xbox 360 and developed by Bioware.

The game has received high praise from Game Informer (9/10), PC Gamer UK (94%), IGN UK (9.2), and Metacritic (93%) for the PC while it received 8.4 from IGN AU on the PS3 and Xbox 360. It is a single player only, role-playing game.

The game has been heavily advertised (including History Channel TV ads) in the last month.

I think I'm going to grab it in a week or two if us common folk agree with the critics...

The holidays are coming up. Publishers always try to push as many games out as possible in October/Novemeber.

I pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk (half the price compared to over here). Now I'm eagerly awaiting it. Baldurs Gates rocked the socks off, and if this is even close, it'll be the best thing in a while.

Sadly it'll take a week to get it and it'll be shipped thursday.

When I had to download a 300MB update for The Sims Online it took 2 days+.
