NewEgg FTW!!!

A couple of things, first I am sure everyone has seen this by now

http://www.newegg.com/

Their early "Black Friday" deals.

The next thing, and this is a little quick story to help anyone that is hesitant to purchase from the Egg!

Recently, 11/21/09, purchased a keyboard and mouse combo for $49.99 + $7.56 shipping. Okay fine, no problem, willing to pay that, great Logitech wireless set......Now fast forward 4 fricking days, and find out this exact same set is selling for $34.99 + free shipping

Needless to say, after only 4 days, and haven't even received the package, it is an amazing $22.56 less! Now with the economic state these days, that is a shit load of cash, so I was pretty pissed about this. Got online with a live customer representative, and between her and the NewEgg staff they agreed to reimburse my credit card the $22.56 difference!!!!!!!!!

Most companies would just tell ya, "tough shit pal, prices change." Not NewEgg, they are gracious enough to understand that a buck is a buck!!!

NewEgg FTW!!!!!

They usually say something along the lines of "Now, we don't normally do this but given the situation we can make an exception this one time." Happened when I bought my HD 4890 and there are countless other stories from members around here. Great customer service for sure.

I ordered 3 things and they both came today, basically under 30 hours from ordering.

Yep, same here Flyordie! Ordered the keyboard mouse combo on Saturday, and the scheduled delivery is the 30th as well. Of course with Turkey day, that will slow it down from being delivered the 27th

That does kick ass... free shipping too. Bought two of them!

Edit: Me thinks that the Egg is under a DOS attack... Site is really slow and no confirmation emails.
