True on that nature, I'll have to look into the factors on that for what really goes down.. I really don't see having it for more then a year or so.. I tend to sell off my stuff to get something else once someone is looking for something I have..

This is true. Those adapters also will give you slight loss in image quality as well. The only time I know people have used them is for goofing off, or, in emergency case. Such as THis:

A: Drat, I droped my bag. Bob, can I borrow a lens ASAP.
B: Yea, here. Wait, don;t you have a Canon. I have Nikon.
A: I got an adapter. Its ok...for now.

Then again, if you are learning to use a DSLR, this is not a bad way to learn. Just remember, once you pick a brand path, be prepared to walk it for life, unless you have serious dough to blow. Its all about the glass.
