If you really want to look into RPG, you should look in the oldies: Baldurs Gate, Fallout, Planescape and so on..

While not being to clever or fantastic in storyline it is a good game.

BEST described as a Witcher rip off, feels really like it and the engine is similar. The combat is similar looks a bit like a MMO set up with all the crap at the bottom in boxes.

Great, thanks. You actually summed the game up, but is it worth downloading in your opinion? Thats the question

The whole reason that devs release demos is so you don't have to rely on other opinions to decide if you want to purchase the game. Download the demo and try it. Worse case, you delete it.

And to save the world from another impending apocolypse, don't rely on Frick's advice.

I should really stay out of the games forum.

No, Frick, you should spend more time there. Your responses are classic and promote lively discussion on various games and gaming trends.

I just pick on you because you were a good sport about my "grumpy dwarf" comment that you used to have in your sig.

Hey dude, I see ur in Sydney like me, Im guessing you have a download cap as all of aussie net users do which iz gay but i played the demo and it sucked ballz, the controls I couldnt figure out and the action was just boring, the graphic detail was the only good thing, but thats my opinion, so if i were you I'd go for dragon age origins defanetly, i got the game and it seems to be pretty good so far, Im not a fan of rpg games only the final fantasy i luv but western rpg's I rarely ever get into but dragon age origins does the trick so you might like it, hope this helps man, later

I TRIED to play Dragon age - but the whole interface was just.. SO clumsy and awkward, it was impossible...

The Camera was always pointing the wrong way and you cold never really see what was going on :\

And the NPC's just blather on & on forever - very disappointing.

It would be nice if these games had a setting for the SPEED of NPC speech, as many of us are NOT retarded, and can handle more than 5 words per minute. It's almost as though they are talking as slowly as possible to artificially lengthen the game.
