OMG is a XFX

So i bought a 5970 and the guy said it is a sapphire, and i was like, ok then, but now he sent me a picture and well its a BLACK EDITION, (talk about good news) = YAY!, though only monday.
I had to post this since my folks wont be any interested, and are already stupified by the amount i payed.

Damn I would've kept the XFX, lifetime warranty and it's a Black Edition!!!!!! <- Slight sarcasm on the BE part, but still.

XFX FTW! I have never bought a top card (more a mid range GPU guy) I bet ur pretty excited to plug it in and go.

(I buy mostly their cards now to thank them for using back PCBs)

Yes, that's because it's seldom that you have to use a Sapphire warranty. The one time I did, they paid for shipping both ways and the whole process took less than two weeks. Their communication was also excellent. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

I'm glad you had such a positive experience with them. After spending as much time as I did on their now defunct forum I did see quite a few complaints from people who didnt have the same luck.. but it's usually only the people with complain that come back to talk about it. Of the 5 Sapphire cards I had none of them needed any warranty service anyway.

Good thing you are getting the Black Edition, should be clocked higher as mine 5850 is...
