Crysis crashes on windows 7

just installed crysis on a fresh copy of windows 7 when game starts screen turns black
atm im downloading the patch hoping that wil work
here are system specs
Windows 7 home 64bit
Intel Core 2 dou T6600 2.2ghz
6gb ddr3 1066mzh
Ati mobility radeon hd 4650

anny one got idea's?

make sure you use the 32bit Crysis executable.

Latest drivers, latest updates, latest everything. Patch Crysis. Lower your overclock if you have one going.

Yea 32bit exe. AND ALL UPDATES.
That dam game is so buggy to get running its kinda sad.

i havent had issues with crysis or the 64bit one. ran the benchmark quite a few times. on windows 7

Hi guys,
I just bought a new pc and installed windows 7 x64 RC ultimate and its awesome, but one problem is it wont play crysis! it just crashes at the menu and on the loading screens. anybody else with this or anyone who can help?

The normal response for asking a question during someone else's post is, "You should look through the forum to see if this topic has been addressed before. If not post a new one to ask for help."

In your case, I recommend starting from the top of this post and read all the listed post until you get back to yours.

best to make sure u got your latest drivers and all that stuff.

also note that the RC becomes annoying in march. by restarting every 2 hours.
