System Specs

Comp won't shut down! What now!

Well, my computer hasn't been shutting down for a while, I just didn't care. Now I'm really worried and I've tried everything and nothing seems to work. What should I do? I'm about to do a clean install of windows XP.

Try taking the power cord out the back . If that doesnt work, your PC is haunted lol

Have you tried directly jumping off the power on pins on your mobo?

Wow your power button could of just died out like my dads LED'S on his, But pulling out that power cable is the way to go, But if you dont want to do it inproparly thats an issue.

i had the same problem a fw days ago. of you have old school molex connectors connected to your sata drive instead of a sata power connector it could be the courpret.
