Unaware of ADS @ TPU?

I remember having a discussion with some mods about small popup ads on their website, then being responded back to with not having these particular ads, and that it may be adware that is causing these, as they have no popup ads at techpowerup.

Well, I am on vacation on a different computer, and the same ADS pop up, then i realize that while I was at work, these same ads were popping up also, and being that my work is US army special operations command, those computers are locked down, definately no adware there...

anyone else getting these?

Click on your user CP.
Then edit options.
Scroll down to the bottom and disable inline text ads.
That will fix your problem.

I get them but they don't really bother me. I just leave it on incase it generates the site some money.

blue underlined links -> mouse over -> ad box shows. they are not spyware
if they are too annoying, register at the forums, log in, user cp -> disable inline text ads.

they do help to pay our bills
