NZXT Debuts Hades Gaming PC Chassis

Airflow is optimized with 5 fans(dual 200mm intake, 200 mm front fan, dual top 140mm fans, side 200mm fan, and rear 120mm exhaust). NZXT includes all the fans with the exception of the top 140mm and also provides a dual fan 8W per channel controller giving enthusiasts freedom to manage intake and exhaust airflow. A three temperature display on the front panel allows the user to see the temperature inside the chassis even when the door is closed. Additionally, the meshed 5.25” bays, door, and bottom panel allows for air to naturally flow into the system with ease.

Hades also boasts premium expandability with up to nine 5.25” bay setup or five 5.25” and four 3.5.” It also features VGA clearance room for 300mm cards like the new ATI 5970. The punched side panel and motherboard tray with rubber grommets on the motherboard routing holes enables advanced wire management and quick CPU bracket removal. Additional advanced features include a solid state bracket allowing for two SSD drives, pre-drilled water cooling holes on the backplate, mounting holes for a dual radiator at the top, and a removable filter at the bottom PSU.

Not bad looking for the price, though why not just go that little extra and include the 5th fan not just the 4 1st ones

Also would of liked to see a window on the side panel for this case. And it looks a tad on the small side, I could see this becoming quite cramped inside with your typical tpu build Edit: after reading it again, maybe it just looks on the small side?

I will say, this is the first NZXT case that hasn't made me wince or shake my head while wondering " who the "f" would buy that? It looks like a decent case from them...finally.

I always wonder if modern cases need side fans. If you have say a back exhaust fan and one or two top fans and then leave the front drive bays with grills (with dust filters of course) then should that not be enough to keep any modern rig cool enough.

Down sides to these side fans is they usually do not come with dust filters and then your options for a side window are limited.

The side panel looks very similar to a HAF 922, and the case overall reminds me of those razor trains from HL2...
I've never really liked NZXT cases, and this one doesn't do anything to change that, but the price is a step in the right direction.

NZXT has been releasing quite weird case designs lately... This case is more straight forward and I have to say, it looks pretty good.

A couple of things bug me though. The grommit cable management doesn't look that great, it seems like Corsair is the only company that pulled it off. And I didn't notice a hole for the 8-pin CPU power cable?

Now thats much better than the alien shit they were starting to pull out. Their best case looks/perf/price for me was the tempest.

I really like the name and the case. I think it is time to slow down on releasing so many cases from a lot of companies. I cant buy them all!!!!

It sure is a good looking and well made case, however, I don't think it's deep enough, seeing as how company's seem hell bent on making 12" GPU's the norm, I'm not convinced this is buit with the future in mind.

Actually the Tempest looks pretty good, but like this case featured here, it's just a little small for my taste.

I like the exterior looks, very brutal. The inside is basically the same as the Tempest Evo, Lexa S, and that other case that looks like a beat up rock. Still pretty neat though.

I was thinking Darth Vader when I first looked at it,, That's what I like about NZXT, there cases are different, Some better then others but different.
