System Specs

from Phenom 955 to core i5 750

hello..i need some advice please.

there's a friend of mine who had amd phenom 2 955 PC and intend to change and bought a core i5 750 pc.

is it worth it to change from PHII 955 to i5 750?

i need to give him some advice before he change his mind changing to i5 750..
just want to know whether if it worth.. any ideas?

his specs are:
AMD Phenom II 955
Asus Crosshair 3
4gb Corsair DDR3 1333
Asus GTX295

Seems like a waste of $$ to me. He should go for something with HT at least

That's actually a pretty damn good AMD system he has there and going to a i5 isn't going to do much accept take more money.
