.vcd
Hi guys!
I am trying to open a file with the .VCD extension, but can't find any programs on the internet to open it. Does anyone know how to open this kind of file? |

Sounds like a videocd, which is MPEG1. Usually they use .DAT files though, which you can simply rename to .MPG. Try that, if that doesn't work see if it's some known CD image, try to open it with Winrar or Daemon tools.

Should be a VideoCD file -
http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/term.cfm/vcd See if you can open it with your CD/DVD burning software. |

WMP will open VCDs (if it actually is a Video CD file).
If it's a virtual CD file you will need something else.

Try VLC media player, maybe it will play through that. Like Kreij said you will need something else to open the file.
