8600gt With bad caps. replace?

I have a XFX 8600GT that has 3 bad caps. I have extra caps rated 6.3v@1800uf, Can these be used in place of the 6.3v@1500uf?

Yes you can use them safety. The most important thing is that voltage is same or more then original voltage. Since your caps have same voltage there is no problem to use it.

if you registered your card with in the first year of purchase you could be entitled to a new one from XFX (thats only if you registered the part within that year of purchase).

Hmmm! lots of cards that died in short time , you may want to check/change your PSU seems like a surge somewhere that blow up your cards , unless you overclock & push your cards to far..?

Nope... just short on luck every card was in a different PC. 4 weeks ago when the first 8600GT caps went i know the other was not far behind, as for the 8800GS It was in my Wife's PC Card would not let the system even turn on so i replace the Power supply :P before i noticed it was the Card.

Yes i do use power bars.. XFX8600GT are 680Mhz Stock with zalman Coolers never OC. 8800GS was OC from 580 to 850 and lasted well over a year really she ran better at 850 then 580 :P XFX replaced it with a 9800GT. The 8600GT's Will boot but not stable Both have same 3 caps that are dead.
