My new windowed panel just came for my Sniper..

Looks like I'll be keeping the case (till the HAF X anyway)! Anyway, I wanted to ask since now I have 2 extra panels, the mesh one and the solid one, should I replace the solid panel with the mesh panel on the side behind the mobo tray? Would the extra perforation improve airflow?

Why dont you try? After all, hard solid evidence is always much better than mindless chatter.

Not airflow, but maybe temps, since it has a new way of excaping the case.
Does the panel even fit to the other side?

Perhaps. At the same time, it might cause more turbulence, which actually reduces proper airflow, therefore increases temperatures, if only slightly (you may notice one or more fans running faster).
I guess it depends on the fans/airflow you've got setup now

I spent 5 minutes trying to get the panel on just to realize that the panel does not fit. I'm not going to bother explaining but the way Cooler Master makes their side panels it's impossible to swap.

*sigh*

Of course a little modding would fix it but I don't have the proper tools.
