It's an iphone and ipod combine with a not so great of a name.

Looks decent though.

i'm guessing it'll be around $600-800, but will probably feature like $200 as subsidies from at&t, and possible verizon, for using their 3g services on it..

Sorry but those graphics suck. That's bellow PSP-level graphics and we've had that for 6 years in a smaller device..
I don't get how they even try to market that tablet as a gaming device with those graphics..

Unless it comes at a <$350 price tag, I don't see any point in that device.
It's like a dumbed-down tablet pc with a weak CPU and a weaker GPU.

I wonder what OpenGL ES GPU they put in it. It seems like they just pasted the SGX 5 from the iPod Touch 3G.

Lets you watch MLB streams and keep track of stats, scores, etc. Would be fantastic if they had a similar NCCA and NFL football application, great for fantasy leagues.

iBooks seems really neat as well... kindle who?

oh they will. they only partnered with some people. everyone else will catch up once they see the other guys succeeding..

the ibooks looks nice.. most poeple that were potential kindle buyers might switch over the iphone because its exactly like the kindle.. only with more capabilities.. i hope ibooks turns out to be something kick ass, just like when itunes was released, $.99/song, etc.

It looks like they used a scale tool from photoshop on a iphone and just stretched it.

I bet this thing starts at $1200.00.

I'm assuming its going to cost $500-$600. If its anymore than that, it won't sell very well. Considering Sony's e-book reader is $300, I'm adding an extra $2-300 for what Apple's iPad is capable of. That'd be a fair price.

PS Iwork looks nice, but i dont think touch pad is fit for heavy typing and overall business work. I would buy me a ultra light notebook instead.

14.99 up to 250 mb and 29.99 for unlimited. i think thats way too expensive .. and the hotspots are basically for at&t to reduce their network load

It better not be over $600. Might as well get a real laptop at that price.
