Intel's Quad Core Tukwila

Real World Technologies has official confirmation that Intels quad core is to be named Tukwila. The new Tukwila has an on die FB-DIMM memory controller that allows lower access latency. Reports say that each core features 6mb L3 Cache which totals 24MB Cache per MPU. This totals 3MB less then its predecessor Montecito with 27MB Cache on two processors. It's operating frequency is estimated to be about 2.5 GHz.
