SAPPHIRE at CeBIT 2010
Stunning displays of high end graphics and new technologies

SAPPHIRE Technology is showcasing the latest developments in high end graphics for the PC as well as some exciting new introductions at CeBIT 2010, Hall 17 Stand A44.

Building on the success of the SAPPHIRE HD 5800 series - the first family of graphics cards to support Microsoft DirectX® 11 and Windows 7, as well as the exciting new multi-screen technology known as Eyefinity from ATI, SAPPHIRE is now able to show a complete top-to-bottom lineup of graphics cards with these capabilities.

VAPOR-X and TOXIC Editions in the HD 5800 and HD 5700 series offer the best performance as well as the most efficient and quiet cooling in their class, and include the recently introduced award winning SAPPHIRE HD 5850 TOXIC as well as midrange HD 5770 and HD 5750 models. Details are available at www.sapphiretech.com.

For the budget conscious, the latest SAPPHIRE HD 5570 delivers best performance in its class, fully DirectX® 11 compliant and supporting ATI Stream with 400 Stream processors and with a choice of output configurations including a DisplayPort model that supports ATI Eyefinity. Aimed at the mainstream PC and media center builder, the SAPPHIRE HD 5450 series offers a choice of HDMI or DisplayPort models with totally silent passive cooling in a single slot. Both the HD 5570 and HD 5450 series are low profile cards that are supplied with low profile brackets for installation into slimline cases.

And now for the really new stuff!

Take your seat for the SAPPHIRE HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition
Being previewed at the show, with a stunning live demonstration is the new SAPPHIRE HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition. Standard HD 5000 series cards with DisplayPort support up to three monitors with the ATI Eyefinity driver. The new HD 5870 Eyefinity6 Edition card has 2GB of memory and six DisplayPort outputs and will be demonstrated with the exciting driving game DIRT2 on an array of six 27-inch monitors. DIRT2 makes full use of the DirectX® 11 capabilities for detail and special effects and with the player in a driving seat using a force feedback steering wheel makes for a really immersive gaming experience!

Fastest graphics card on the planet
Currently holding the crown for the fastest graphics card available is the HD 5970. SAPPHIRE will introduce at the show a new 4GB version of the SAPPHIRE HD 5970 with a special cooling solution and higher clock speeds that will blow previous versions out of the water!

SAPPHIRE Mini-ITX mainboard - first in class
Complementing its range of conventional ATX and micro-ATX mainboards, SAPPHIRE is the first company in Europe to introduce a fully featured AMD 785G based mainboard in the mini-ITX format aimed at embedded applications. Compatible with AMD socket AM3 processors with DDR3 support up to 65Watts TDP, the board has all the facilities of a full-sized mainboard in the tiny 17x17cm format, including dual DDR3 memory slots and a PCI-Express 16-lane slot for expansion.
The AMD 785 chipset includes integrated graphics equivalent to the HD 4200 series, with DirectX® 10.1 support and integrated UVD for the on-board decoding of HD-DVD and Blu-ray video streams. The SAPPHIRE IPC-AM3DD785G ITX board features extensive connectivity, including up to 10 USB, 4 SATA and IDE, Gigabit LAN, 6-channel audio and SPDIF as well as VGA and HDMI video outputs. The use of quality components such as solid capacitors makes this board a market leading choice for control and industrial applications as well as small format PC.

SAPPHIRE N450 Netbook
Already being test marketed in some of its sales regions, SAPPHIRE Technology now offers a state of the art Netbook computer. Market research identified the key parameters customers demanded for this class of product, and these are now combined in the SAPPHIRE N450. A 10.1inch widescreen display together with 1.66GHz processor and 1GB of system RAM offer sufficient performance for most tasks. Up to 250GB hard drive and a full spectrum of built in expansion and networking facilities make this netbook one of the most capable in its class.

SAPPHIRE Mini Projector 101
Whether on the road or at home, the new SAPPHIRE Mini Projector offers users a simple way to display presentations, digital images, photographs or video to colleagues or family. This projector can display bright and clear images up to 65 inches (1.65m) across from a variety of sources, including VGA input from a PC as well as video input from digital cameras, iPods and other devices. It automatically caters for TV input in PAL or NTSC format as well as other digital standards. The bright LED lamps have an exceedingly long life of 20,000 hours, in contrast to the short bulb life of conventional projectors. Its small size makes for easy portability, yet battery operation can last up to 140 minutes.
