Bad Company 2 Patching issues
Is there alternate way to apply the patch?
I keep getting this:  Which is annoying since the option to "play with current version" only appears after the patching fails (Which, from the looks of the patch, is GB+ in size.)

ah nvm, got the work around to it... apparently the shortcut executes game update first. I just executed it directly from the drive
