Not only is this hilarious, but addresses one of my true pet peeves in life. There are few things more annoying on the planet than a guy with a wet noodle handshake.

Oh, nice sound card too.

I just wanted to get all the formalities out of the way ya know?

I pulled the Sound Card and HD3870X2s from my Skulltrail, which I have begun parting out. They are all in excellent condition. I have already flushed the waterblocks with vinegar and water and they are ready to go another round.

The X-fi Elite Pro Console makes things sound better than plugging direct to the back of the card. Not sure why, but it does. The remote is kind of neat and lets you adjust all the various Creative Console functions without rearing up out of your chair.

I used the console mainly for my AKG 701 headphones.

I priced everything to sell...I need dosh.

Free bump for nice stuff.

Off topic question: how did the GPU blocks work for you in parallel? I am thinking about doing my 5970 blocks like that to help keep my case clutter-free.

The cards ran within 1C of each other and stayed a few degrees above ambient under load.
