Suffering crossfire flickering? See here!
Finally, at long last i have found a viable solution to fix crossfire flickering.
Summary of the problem: This is NOT flickering/missing textures - this is an issue where it looks like horizontal likes and moving up and down the screen behind the image, kind of like an old TV/VCR not being tuned in right. Solutions offered by AMD: Turn on Vsync (doesnt always work, stalker games Vsync is broken for example) Turn off catalyst AI (which turns off crossfire, good one ATI) blame something random (drivers, bridges on the wrong way, bad bridge, etc) Solution offered by mussels: well it aint perfect, but the latest Rivatuner has a new Direct3D overrider - that works in DX10/11 now! Simply install rivatuner and look in your start menu for it, its got a simple interface ![]() As you can see here, i simply added XRengine (stalkers exe) set Vsync and triple buffering on... and what do you know, a perfectly smooth, nausea inducing lines free gaming session ![]() the reason this works is that many games use a broken method to implement Vsync (think dead space, where the mouse basically stopped working) - and this uses another, more reliable method that seems to solve such problems.

Awsome!
I've read mixed statements concerning triple buffering and CrossFire. It's good to know that it works. I can't wait to get home and try it!

Well put Mr. Mussels. i like amd's solution of disabling xfire to fix xfire flicker issues. For all intents and purposes it works: I guess. lol

the problem is that theres so many different flickering issues in crossfire, so people ask for a fix to one type, and get a fix for another.
