Voltage advice wanted.

As much as I pretend to know about computers and system building, there are things that are still well beyond me. Specifically, voltages for my motherboard, processor, memory and video card.

I think I may have bought the wrong memory modules for my motherboard. I bought a 2x2GB set of Mushkin Blackline DDR3 10666 for my Crosshair III, I didn't pay attention to the speed of the stuff when I grabbed it. I wanted the 1600mhz version and ended up with the 1333mhz version. Manufacturers specs say it should operate at 1.7-1.8v, but I'm not an overclocker at this moment. Should I set it for the minimum of 1.7 to reach it's full speed of 1333 in BIOS or should I go for a middle of the road 1.75? Also, will using the wrong RAM possibly damage my motherboard?

I have an AMD Phenom II 965BE and it's manufacturers spec say .825-1.4v. Again, I was thinking I should park it somewhere around 1.35 for just a stock clock. I don't want to overvolt my hardware unless it's necessary, and I am still reading up on OC before I attempt anything.

Basically, I just want to ensure that I am get the most of my hardware at stock speeds. I usually just let BIOS auto configure most things, but I bought the Crosshair so I could dabble a little bit with a more robust BIOS.

Anyone have any advice on stock voltages for stock clocks and any reading materials beyond what is posted here on the website for BIOS setting and overclocking?
