find out what hardware is in the laptop, and get it from the people who made the hardware - not from HP.

A coproccessor used to be a seperate chip in the old days; now it is part of the same die your cpu is built upon. It performs, usually, floating point math functions.

It drivers are part of the nvidia chipset drivers.

Is this your lappie?CQ50-211NR

Drivers for Windows 7 64 bit
Drivers for Vista 64 bit
or Select your operating system

Hope this helps...

Edit: the latest nVidia drivers for mobile chipsets seem to support yours, here.

You might find this of interest, your chipset.

This may work on your laptop, to help extend your nvidia control panel etc, for some o/cing, setting memory timings and other stuff; it does not work on every laptop, but a few lucky ones.

nVidia driver search.

EDIT: How is it going trickson?
