I tested my old Visiontek 2400HD PCI on windows 7, slow as hell, but it works. I think the 2400hd is dying anyway, but it worked. But to answer your question directly, yes a GT220 works with windows 7 just fine, even with games.

it sure is handy to have 2Gb VRAM when opening many˛ hi-res images in Photoshop CS4.
a 512Mb card only manage to open <50 hi-res images. OpenGL acceleration = ON but for gaming? nope |

With a little more RAM, we could install Windows XP on it and run it from GPU directly.

The only possible use would be as a cheap CAD card. Otherwise, entirely useless.
