You are correct. The Australian game ratings are set by a committee, of which he was a member. It was his vote alone that has blocked the reforms but we do not know whether the next person will vote the same, nor even when the next time the committee meets.

I'm still happy he is going - he was/is an embarassment to the Australian online community.

I care about what affects me. I didn't get to elect him, I don't live where he "contributed to society" and I remain convinced he was nothing but a cantankerous old fart who over used his power to enforce moral judgements on a part of society he has little comphrehension of. ya can kick my arse if ya want, but that is the same kind of attitude he had. I'm not a schoolboy moaning on, I am entitled to be pleased he is going.
