5850 o/c with after burner 2d/3d profile question

is there a way to stop the screen jumping when afterburner changes between the profiles. as just managed to get it to 900/1150 for 3d mode and retain the idle 2d clocks. but the screen jump when the profile changes is a PITA. if there is a way to get rid of it i would love to know

Yes.. custom bios for your card. The jump is a fraction of a second long. It really bugs you that much?

thanks Binge, yeah its not long but its enough. Just loath to bios flash as already killed one 5850 by a bad flash attempt. Thankfully the place of purchase replaced it under warranty

soo what are you using the profiles for. No offense, it can def get annoying but i just flashed mine in the end anyways. As far as profiles i just have the one the computer starts with and if it needs adjusting up or down for somethin, benching or whateve... it gets adjusted.. no flickering then.

then again i don't see my card ever hitting the idle clocks lol...
