+1 Batman AA is awesome, with good replay value with extra modes, like predator mode

Delta Force Xtreme 2 (first person shooter) is an interesting game but nothing I'd write home about.

Overlord II (third person adventure) is fun but rather short. It has excellent music (which are MP3s sitting in the install directory).

Demigod (real time strategy) is also fun but it does get dull rather quick because it is designed to be a multiplayer more so than single player game.

Batman Arkham Asylum (third person adventure) is fun but has virtually no replay value if you completed everything on the first play through. The game is also very much on tracks so don't expect to explore Gothom City or anything mindnumbingly fun like that.

ARAM II (first person shooter) I can't play. Just like the Operation Flashpoint titles this game virtually clones, they're extremely buggy in my experience.

ANON 1404AD (real time strategy) is a fun/boring game. If you love to micromanage an extensive economy, this one is for you.

Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (first person adventure). I never played it but FYI, why get the demo when you can download the full version for free.

The rest I have never played. Of those I mentioned, it is unlikely I would recommend buying any of them (except maybe Overlord II). For the most part, they are all B or C list games.

Install everything and see what you like. But still:

Anything Monkey Island is a given.

Hearts of Iron III as well. Anything from Paradox is a given.

Batman is totally overrated.

Another Vote for Batman.

I have played Tales of Monkey Island....it's not the same as the older ones.
It get tedious and the walk through is recommended to have on hand as the riddles and tasks get really random.

Some parts are rather funny though.

darkest of days was pretty good. it wasn't an A release or a GREAT game, but it was a good FPs with a better story than most. I bought it on release and am not disappointed.

Trine is a great game for $10 bucks when it is on sale. It is a bit short, but fun. Little replay value if you are not a completist.

Batman was awesome, reply value comes in the bonus beat down trials, harder difficulty, and did I mention it was awesome.

If you are thinking about getting Daggerfall, don't. Just get Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Add a few mods and enjoy.
