No one talking about Creativity Suite 5 ?

Adobe's new Creative suite CS5.

I still have Photoshop Elements 5. Yes, it's a far cry from the latest offering. But there no way i would dish out this much money on a suite that i would not even use that much. That's the reason i got Corel's graphics suite 4.

Btw, Corel has a new version 5 suite as well. Damn i should have waited a bit more.

Anyone here looking forward to CS5?

It uses CUDA so I'm dissapointed. Still using CS2 as it serves my needs. Heck, paint almost suits my needs. I guess if I need to upgrade it will be to CS4 so my video card can take advantage of it.

I went from CS2 to CS4 and the difference is really not that noticeable, not for me anyways since I don't have any really specific needs except for the odd text removal or so. And I preferred the CS2 interface over CS4. But anyhow, I can almost guarantee you that CS5 won't be a super-mega-incredible improvement over CS4.

Can't afford the upgrade cost ATM. Besides, I don't think I need an upgrade yet anyway. Using CS4 right now which I upgraded only few months ago.

AMD says "WOA WAIT UP ONE SECOND!"

Adobe says it supports CUDA and OpenCL. Head on over to Rage3D and view the full readout. :-)

I use fully legal (single user license) CS3 and CS4 Web Premium Suites currently, and will definitely be getting the CS5 version when it hits the shelves. And just as for CS3 and CS4 I should be paying only the equivalent of about US$80 due to educational pricing for students and staff at my university's campus software store.

Can't wait for content aware editing MUAHAHAHAHA.

The thing is, the photos in those videos were hand-picked specifically and everything was done before-hand. The content aware filter isn't as effective in everyday use from what I've seen. You really need to play around with the colour balance and gamma/brightness of the photo...

How ..on ..Earth ..is that content aware feature working?
I don't think this is what it does, but I remember an idea of computer analysing Google images into a graphical-similarities database and reconstructing missing image bits on demand from an aggregate of all Google images. This however, seems to base new image parts on just the little amount of similar data in the one image in the editor. That's impressive.

Also apparently available for GIMP
Will go try that.

Time to talk!

Demo available: http://www.adobe.com/products/photos...oshopextended/

Or get the entire Master Collection (30 days): http://www.adobe.com/products/creati...tercollection/

Gave it an easy one:

Good photo of Bit, but there's a filthy mutt taking a dump near my Lincoln!

Much better. At original size I noticed some artifacts but nothing that couldn't be fixed easily.

I've also been liking Dreamweaver CS5 (improvements for PHP). Haven't gotten around to Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator yet and any thing else yet.

Unfortunately, no. Chances are, it'll just put some extra heads there. Seems to be what happens when i try.

Loving Content Aware though. IMO it only works well on landscapes and backgrounds. Foreground stuff just confuses it. Good for a giggle though.
