I'm for what can get the people on the ball for something else.. But, when it effects the factor of me not being able to play it. After spending $50-$60 on the game, not including, gas, internet, shipping, then it really makes me not want to play the games that the Publisher makes. No matter how good that game is, or how the title is something I've been "waiting for". If they're going to shaft the end user.. Why?

Spore, for the longest time, was the most pirated game due to its drm.. It was a fun game to play.. but because of the drm, it wreaked it..

I myself havent experienced any DRM issues in AC2 (lucky i guess), however, I support in removing the DRM as well.. heck its already cracked by emulating their servers.. now its time to remove the crap.

I can't name once where Ubisoft patched the DRM out no matter how desperately needed it was. The chances of that happening, unfortunately, are virtually none.

The only possible way you can get them to do anything is to simply get everyone to not buy their games...and thats never going to happen and they know this. Even if you could start a complete boycott they would simply chalk it up to piracy and stop making pc games all together...its a lose lose situation no matter what angle you take. sorry bro

And slightly off topic.....What leads you to believe there is even going to be a pc version?

This is why they get away with it. Because people accept it as inevitable.
They will not stop making games, I can't even see how you could suggest that.
The people like the ones who made this topic are the ones who help to keep this kind of nonsense in check, every bit helps.

This isn't looking good. Only 76 signatures and it remained there for several days. I don't know what to say.
