High end 890FX boards, where are they?

I'm switching one of my crunchers back to AMD, and I'm looking for a motherboard. So, I figure that I might as well buy a 890GX chipset board in anticipation of the 6 core Thuban. In my search however, I'm only found the Asus Crosshair IV and a couple of low to mid end GX boards. Anyone know when Gigabyte MSI and DFI are planning to release their high end 890FX boards?

IGP doesn't get high-end boards, AFAIK. That's reserved for 890FX..too many products in the past, IMHO, so this is good, at least to me.
ASUS had 15+ different P45 boards...why?

Let's see what happens next tuesday...

LOL. I've been a bit out of the AMD loop lately. So, what about 890FX? Are some of those boards being released next week?

Apparantly, at least according to the rumour mill, they will release Thuban and 890FX on April 26th...or NDA ends on the 26th...

I believe Asus, Gigabyte, etc. have already release what will be there high end 890GX chipset boards but I could be wrong. I purchased the ASUS M4A89GTD PRO in anticipation of the 6 core Thuban. I'm currently running an AMD Athlon II X3 435 that is unlocked and shows up as a X4 B45.

As previously mentions the rumors are that the Thuban and 890FX boards will be released soon. This thread, Upcoming 890FX Motherboards - Due April 26th, over on XtremeSystems can give you some idea what's coming.

Other than OCing (which you can still do on mid range boards quite well) is there another advantage I am missing to running WCG Crunchers on high end motherboards?

This particular cruncher serves a few other functions too.

Revised OP. So, now that the Crosshair IV is out, when can we expect 890FX from everyone else?

They are all slowly trickling out, no? Or you mean the Gigabyte ones, in which case I think its going to be within a week not that the hexacores are already out.

Haven't even seen a trickling. I've only seen the Crosshair so far.

Asus got the 890Fx ones ( Crosshair and another one) out sooner than the rest, I thought MSi also have one?

Afaik they should all be listed in this week. If a motherboard vendor doesn't have a 890FX board out there, he's probably clearing his 790FX inventory.

I just figured that Gigabyte would try to retail release along with Asus. I'm really hoping they are available over the next couple of days, since I need a board FAST to pair with the 1090T I just ordered.
