flashing .bin with nvflash?

I screwed up on a video BIOS flash, so I tried to re-flash with the backup I made, but it didn't quite work out, so I tried downloading the BIOS from here, but it's in .bin format and when I try to use it with nvflash, it says the file must have a .rom or .nvr extention. How do I use the BIOS I downloaded from here?

Ah nevermind, I managed to recover. Apparantly, you have to use nibitor to save the .bin to a .rom, then flash. I have my 8800gts back now...

that was a really shitty hour of my life, heh

thanks w1zzard, for creating the video bios collection, and to whoever submitted the bios for my particular card, heh...

Origionally I had used nvflash to copy the BIOS from the card, then I used nibitor to edit some clockspeeds and the minimum fan duty cycle, then I flashed the edited BIOS and got no video and 100% fan speed all the time (I had it set for 65%).

you can just rename .bin to .rom .. same thing

Ehhh... but I'm anal and would rather use nibitor to save it as a .rom
