Athlon II 630 heatsink and paste?

Hey guys, was just wondering any recommendations for good heat sincs to purchase and some paste to go along with it to overclock my 630 pretty decently . I'm hoping to get at least like 3.4-3.6 but I'm just an amateur so we'll see. Also does anyone know if newegg.ca accepts prepaid mastercards

Budget is important for us to help you out

Paste: MX-2, MX-3 and OCZ Freeze are my favorite, there is this Shin-Etsu that is quite good too

I havn't dried anything yet tonight but I began to think about getting a heat sinc to keep the heat down even more if I have even more issues. Do you think maybe I should call AMD as I have a fault chip? Also, my budget for the paste would be around 60-80?

so long as the card is considered a "credit/debt" card they'll take it (as long as there's enough dough)

Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Universal CPU Cooler 120mm...

that's a massive cooler and it should be at about your budget, and will most likely have its own paste with it

Where exactly? Montreal or Laval by any chance?

I suggest you go slow and get a Hyper 212+ or Scythe Mugen 2 Rev.B

If you want to spend your budget, perhaps a CoolIt ECO from directcanada.com

Did you make sure you are using the latest bios? They update bios's for CPU updates.

Unfortunatly I don't think I have a USB stick like you were telling me to do..so I can't really try that option. I'll try tomorrow to look around to see if I have one, too early to be waking everyone up in my house (2am here)

Thanks, reviews were saying the paste isn't very good though so was there any one paste your would recommend. And would this fit in a standard sized case do you think? Seems pretty massive

It's important that your bios is up to date for stability reasons as well. See what you can come up with.

Measure from your case and see whether you have about 16 cm between your processor and the end of your case. If it does, then I think you will be able to fit in, because the Tower is rated at 153mm by newegg's specs.
