Monitor Died - Need a new one, Help!

Hi Guys

My monitor died... so I'm using my mates 17inch samsung CRT until I can afford a new one.

I want to buy one this weekend. I have enough for either one of these monitors....A BenQ or an AOC...Not really sure which one I should go for.

Here are the links -

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=12722 - AOC

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=12310 - BenQ

My mates say to go the BenQ as they think AOC is a 'crap' brand...But I like the look and warranty on the AOC..

What do you guys think?

Cheers

I have no any idea both of them (out of loop for monitors since i bought mine ) but AOC is the biggest monitor producer on planet iirc

My budget is 'cheapest 24 inch LCD at the local store'. Haha. And these two fit that budget...

The BenQ I have is a great monitor, far better than the Acer I have and they both cost the same.

Out of the two you listed, the BenQ is by far the better of the two and that would be my choice.
