7900GS aftermarket cooling?

old, yes
still runs

I'd like to put aftermarket cooling on this card, since it's a bit loud at the moment.

just want to know if this is a reference design card? and what do you guys recommend for cooling solution.

all you ned to worry about is the spacing of the holes fo mounting the cooler. In respect to the fan on there now, even like a VF700 from Zalman will drop temps dramatically.

You probably don't wanna spent to much on an older card. So I'd say get this. it's more than enough for your needs and not to much money.
