Radeon HD 5470 vs 4570?
Both are mobile GPUs, I'm curious which is better and by how much. I bought a laptop from NewEgg with the 4570 last month, and it was defective and sent it back for a replacement. They were out of stock and just ended up refunded me so now I have to order something else. A similarly priced laptop has a 5470 in it. I'm curious if this 5470 is better, and how much. I can't seem to find any benchmarks comparing the two.

Should be more or less the same, but the 5470 has DX11 and that's just about it.

you cant play any dx11 games with it, it doesnt have the power for it, even the 57xx are slightly too week for dx11 games imo,

5470 has DX11. who knows maybe games in the future will need you to have a DX11 card even if technically DX10 or DX9 can.(so no need to edit cfg or hack or etc).
And 5470(looks new. current gen) sounds better than 4570(looks so old for me - cause its last gen) |

how much do you have for the new laptop?
i think it can take mw1 and l4d and such at decent settings,

I was playing simple games like Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends and Starcraft II on the 4570. They all ran fine on high, as long as this new one would as well that's fine.
