System Specs

Going to Upgrade soon

I'm going to upgrade my pc sometime. You can see my specs:
Asus A8n_Sli Deluxe
Amd Anthlon 64 3200+ 2.0ghz (no overclocking)
1Gig DDR 400 Corsair Value Select Ram
Sapphire Radeon X800 Pro Pci-Express
Western Digital Caviar Sata 250Gig
550w PSU
Nothing Special at all
If I was to spend around $500 on an upgrade what should I upgrade and to what to get the most out of it. I'm pretty sure I'll upgrade to a 3700+ CPU but I'm not sure about motherboard and video card. Any suggestions?

System Specs

Intel

I'm really an Amd fan, but I'm getting kind of tired of hearing 15 second Super Pi times. I only got 37.360 when I overclocked my proccessor to 2.62 Ggz. Maybe I should switch over to Intel and get the E6400 when it comes out and overclock that a little? I really don't want to support Intel right now but wtf, their offering me the better chip and price.

just wait, your system isnt that old, keep it and wait till the end of the year, AMD might respond to conroe later this year with 65nm chips, and a 3200+ isnt realy holding you back much right now anyways, unless you play at 800x600 resolution with no eye candy at all.

Your system is OK at the moment... overclock the graphics and CPU a little if you want more speed and save up and wait for the next gen of graphics cards and CPUs to come out. Then you can build a quick PC!
