Old graphics cards and windows 7?

My friend is going to be installing windows 7 on his computers at his Internet cafe in the phillipenes when he goes over this fall, I was wandering will a old graphics utilize window 7 DX10 support? Is the DX10 support compatiable with the the older grphics card that run with DX9 or DX8.

The cards that are on his computers are 7300SE and 7200GS from Nvidia his specs are AMD Athlon Dual core Processor 2.5GHz 2GB of ram and a MSI MS 730 mobo

No. They wont use DX10 atall, as they don't support it.

System Specs

He will be able to run the OS in DX 8 or 9. For DX10 support he will need a newer GFX card NV 8000 series / HD3K or newer card

System Specs

No. It's the cards that determine the DX support not the OS.

Windows 7 will work 100% fine with any DX8 or 9 Card if thats what your asking. You just won't be able to use DX10.

No. Get 7.

I run Windows 7 with "aero" turned on with this rig:

AMD Athlon 2800+ s754
2gb DDR 400
ATi 9800SE
Cheap Biostar s754 motherboard.

It runs with Windows 7 perfectly.
