San Diego DUST!
Just moved me and my previous build from Portland, Oregon U.S.A. to San Diego, CA.
The dust where I live is insane in comparison from the North West. Antec 1200 case. ArticCool 7 lga775 fan n sink. more dust here, EFFECTING MY GENERAL HARDWARE CONDITIONS! -i.e. HEAT! Is there a solution for this in a atmosphere someone might have experience in server rooms and dust control.. something. Or converse and feed in more info on dust control.. lame but hell with it right.

keep if off the carpet. try to keep it on the table. if you have a high vaccum fan that pushes a lot of air out then yes its a good idea to use it once every now and then. filters work great too

Dust in CA in general is awful. Now during the summer there is an abundance of dirt/dust that is keeping the HEAT company. It will get better in the winter (be glad you aren't in Fresno, dustiest city I have ever been in- no contest
)I clean 2x a month, although it could use it once a week

Get a decent air filter for the room the PC is in.
Or move back to Oregon since our state doesn't suck in basically every way like Cali.

intake covers over all fans (the micron dust ones), again as said above off of the carpet, clean air filters for the house, buy stock in air cans, don't use ped-egg right in front of your pc, and get used to it.
now if you really want to see some bad dust pop open your tv. seriously. |

Just like the others said, get dust filters for all of your intake fans.
Another suggestion would be to get an air purifier for the room your computer is in. A friend of mine has one and I'm sure it does wonders for both the computer dust and your overall air quality which means you breathe cleaner air and the humidity ratio will decrease ![]() edit: The good ones are quite expensive, so do some extensive research before you buy any.

I used to live in Bakersfield, CA years ago. You don't know what dust is until you live in a hell hole like that.
Would not move back to SoCal for nothing. Was stationed at Camp Pendelton for quite a few years, so I know what you are going through. I feel for ya, I really do.
