This headset is not USB, so no you can't directly hook it up to your console. You could use them on your consoles in a number of different ways though.

Newegg put a sale on these at the beginning of the summer for $35 no rebate or redeem code, simply $35 shipped (instant $65 savings). I snagged a pair right away to replace my Plantronics headset.

To be real honest with you I don't think this headset is worth $50, maybe $30-40. And yes I own this headset.

Creative Gaming Headphones Newegg Shellshocker Deal

I don't know if its me or what but I had to adjust the bass through an equalizer for this headset. The bass on this headset is too strong, simply too much. I use foobar2000 for audio playback & thankfully tuning equalizer presets for music is a breeze ;~}

I should warn you with this headset for music - be prepared to fine tune this headset according to your music tastes.

They had them for $30 on another occasion after the 5/8 Shell Shocker, I wanted them both times but had no money in my PayPal account.

I don't mean to be a downer here either but I wouldn't buy them for more than $25.00 as a backup if my main broke. I've owned a pair, bought em from best buy and they lasted about a week.

In their defense they're not my only headset casualty.
