looking to get a real cheap "upgrade" from an old geforce mx420 graphics card. It is part of a little project of me trying to upgrade my first computers from 10 years ago. This is only a little fun side project and I know it is a P.O.S
original specs: Celeron 733Mhz socket 370, 64MB PC100Ram, 30Gb HDD, geforce 64 MB mx420 , 100w matx PSU win ME ![]() current spec after $22 of upgrading and thanks technet: celeron 1Ghz, 512MB ram, 30gb HDD, 250w matx psu, Win XP I only expect this pc to browse the internet and watch videos from both the internet and dvd's without stuttering( if even possible with the CPU I have) So I need a PCI video card to complete this low cost little project. I can pay by paypal and heat is in my sig. I am looking for:
Please PM me with any cards you might have and want to get rid of that match this list Edit: I am actually attempting to crunch with this machine too atm!!

just so you know, a newer video card will not help with video playback from files or internet at all, with the exception of a modern card and H264 playback (and even then, who'd play HD stuff on a celeron 733?)
DVD playback is already doable with what you have, my old celeron 400A could play DVD flawlessly. just use different software (older may be better there - look for an old powerDVD)
