signal issues I had 0 problem with. The only time I noticed a little hiccup was when it was underneath my desk (sliding KB tray) it would sort of mess with the signal. If I kept it out and clear of that it was perfectly fine.

Battery life ... I would say if you kept the KB on medium or low backlight like I did. I normally got 1-2 days of use out of it using it about 10-12 hours for each day. It has an auto off feature to help conserve the batter as well. Plus you can charge the battery with normal wall outlet or through USB so it is pretty convenient either way.
