"Slow" is subjective. We need to know a whole lot more than what you're telling us.
1. What application is giving you poor performance? 2. Is it just one application, or everything across the board? 3. What is your definition of "slow"? We need a number to go on. 4. Are you trying to force excessive amounts of AA/AF? This can cripple your performance, no matter what video card you have. |

me too. i just upgraded to a MSI 460 1gb from GTS 250 and i see a little increase over my old GPU.
i cant overclock high otherwise it will decrease my performance. I think Fermi based cards are like this. Most of them are obviously defective. Nvidia is liable and responsible for all of this. |

the cake (460) is a lie
i would have to assume you switched from amd to nvidia, in which case i have had driver problems when i had drivers form both companies installed, my first guess would be a conflict somewhere have you run sweeper and uninstalled all remnants of old amd drivers, reboot and do fresh driver install? |

What happened to your HD5850?
I would have rather used that, instead of a GTX460... |

The GTX 460 1GB is close to the HD 5850. Not equal. Did you try updating drivers?

Achilles1600, its actually a bug within the game it isnt your video card.
Go into your "documents folder" > Then go into the "BFBC2" folder In directory C:\Users\Daz\Documents\BFBC2, you should find a file called settings.ini Open up settings.ini with notepad. Change DxVersion=10 to DxVersion=9 and save the file Your frame rate will be solid 60FPS+, trust me ...

going froma 5850 to a GTX460 makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.. did you make a profit on the sale or something?
sounds like you might want to run a driversweeper, wipe all ATi and Nvidia drivers out of your system and install new WHQL Nvidia drivers after that. |

Seems like an odd choice of card swap to me too. : ?
But hey never mind, for now the suggestions already posted are grand. Driver sweep : ] |
