Origin PC Announces The Big O Gaming PC, Fuses PC Might with Xbox 360 Capability

ORIGIN PC is proud to unveil The Big O, their latest creation designed for dominance and destined to make high performance computing enthusiasts and gamers to drool uncontrollably. The Big O fuses the capabilities of the fastest computing hardware on the market, ORIGIN's expert overclocking, and a built in Xbox 360 to create the ultimate gaming weapon.

The Big O is featured in CPU Magazine's annual Dream Machine review roundup, an epic competition between system builders. "If you want the ultimate PC, the Big O is it" said CPU Magazine. "By integrating an Xbox 360, the Big O offers everything and the kitchen sink."

Absolute Power – With Intel's Xeon X5680 processors there is nothing you can throw at The Big O that will slow it down. Each X5680 features six-cores, twelve threads, supports ECC memory-and that's before we add a second CPU and overclock it to a lighting fast 4.3GHz. Add in up to 24GBs of Corsair GT 2000MHz memory and then dare any computer task to slow down your Big O.

Quad Damage – A strong core with excellent liquid cooling is the key to lasting performance and EVGA's GeForce GTX 480 FTW graphics cards delivers the best graphical power money can buy. This power is multiplied in a SLI multi-GPU configuration creating the most immersive visuals imaginable in gaming and beyond. The Big O provides the unmatched graphics performance that will shatter any benchmark thrown at it.

The X-Factor – To empower gamers with the most comprehensive gaming platform on the planet, ORIGIN integrates a liquid-cooled Xbox 360 slim directly into each Big O. Every Big O system is strategically modified so the Xbox ports are easily accessible with liquid cooled processors for extreme performance. You can even game on the Xbox 360 while your computer is busy dominating whatever other task it is assigned.

Liquid Cooled to Perfection – ORIGIN keeps your Big O cool with its state of the art liquid cooling system that maximizes performance from the CPU, motherboard, graphics card and even the integrated Xbox 360 slim. The ORIGIN custom liquid cooling system aggressively dissipates heat and eliminates fan noise ensuring your system remains cool and whisper quiet.

"The Big O will satisfy the demands of even the most power hungry gamer, but when you create the ultimate personal computer system it has to be designed to go above and beyond gaming" said Kevin Wasielewski, CEO and Co-Founder of ORIGIN. "From the hottest games on the market to digital video editing and 3D rendering you will have the power to perform at every level. To have the best you have to build using the latest in computer technology that guarantees unmatched performance and that is exactly what you get with the Big O."

"Wow, we can honestly say we've never seen a system like the Big O before," said Ujesh Desai, general manager of the GeForce GPU business at NVIDIA. "The components selected by ORIGIN, including up to quad GeForce GTX 480 GPUs will definitely have gamers salivating for the win."

The Big O features a 1 year free shipping and free part replacement warranty backed with the best in class integration, quality testing and support. ORIGIN offers a free life-time phone and online service guarantee and each customer has a dedicated support team and free life-time labor for upgrade needs. Pricing for The Big O starts from $7,669 and can be configured one on one with an ORIGIN specialist through this page.

$17000? Haha. Who wants a 360 packed with a PC anyway? Do the USB ports lead to both so I can keep one wired controller for both PC and 360 games? Can I use wireless controllers on the PC? I doubt it on both points.

And maybe my info is out of date, but doesn't Quad-SLI cause instability with a lot of games?

Yeah, I'd sell it for $15k and buy a fleet of nice PCs, a 360 and every other game system made in the past 30 years. Maybe even a car...

for a second there i thought it was a reference to the 'anime' BIG O, and secondly their really cutting it close from being hauled into court by Bandai Visual for breach of copyright.

I thought the same. I was hoping for something themed after the Big O robot. Big O can stand for something entirely different as well. *Ex. I gave my girlfriend a "big O" last night.

Nice try but, the slim is not capable of RROD.

Also looking at the pictures, I don't see where the disk drive for the xbox is.

Also I have to say for 17,000 , I would want a PS3 in there as well. I would never buy this, because it goes against the grain, as i would rather build my own. That's not say if someone bought it for me or if it was given me, I would totally take it!

The $17K setup only has 12GB of RAM so don't foget to save up a little more so you can get the other 12GB.

i know - but giving your girlfriend a big O is fine - but the issue here is Big O is copyrighted by Bandai Visual - its their anime - Origin PC release a pc case and call it 'The Big O' is almost asking for trouble. so what if it can stand for something else? for example - a multi-milllion or billion pound company finds out that theres a coffee shop that has the exact same name as them. even if the coffee shop was established a lot longer then their company ever existed, that doesnt stop them taking the cafe owners to court and filing an injunction to get the owners to change the cafes name - this stuff happends all the time.

and movie/animation studios turn into nazi's if someone even so much as creates and uploads a spoof/spin off 'abridged' series of one of their shows that mainly consists of fan dubbing and scenes that have been carefully cut and pasted from random episodes to form a 10min video clip on youtube.

I really dont give a crap what they call the case. Im just pointing out the fact that certain parties may not like how similar the name sounds to some of their copyrighted material.

If trademark law is working right, you can only sue a business similar to yours for trademark infringement. If I make Bob's Wonder Mops, you can have Bob's Wonder Cars.

Also, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big-O

That would be a really, really weak court case.

FIT must be laughing his ass off, because his is better looking and performs better than this. Dunno about cost, though. Also, for 17K I could get laid for an entire month, or get a car, or even get a kick-ass bike, whatever is more convenient.

Now with this.

Yes its 17,000 dollars.

But you cant build a PC like this, even if you tried.

The 17,000 grand comes for the warrenty they deal with, when it comes to broken parts, and the special 360 inside addon.

Its got dual xeons clocked to 4.3Ghz, and 4x 480's.

This could be faster then fits mega rig.

What makes this rig better, The intergrated, WATER COOLED, 360

Makes it priceless.

What exactly is keeping you from building a rig like this? Gut a 360, find some blocks for it and I'm sure you could make it fit in a huge case like that. I know you wouldn't get the warranty but you might save a good bit.
