ok at first it was just asking about this HTPC I am going to build , before I bought it. But i'm impatient - so now it's already purchased I can't delete the thread so I just changed it...

that case has a crap psu i'd bump up to this

Antec ISK 310-150 Black / Silver 0.8mm cold rolled...

I don't think that 460 PSU would fit in that ITX case -- what are you going to be using for speakers?

I really like the way this looks - and it was one of the first I was going to go with. however it does not allow a 3.5" internal drive, which is a necessity. though if i were only using the ssd this would be my choice for sure, ty

make sure you get a mobo with the nvidia ion chip in it which is designed for smooth 1080p playback. also, just FYI you dont need that kinda CPU power if this is only HTPC. however, looking at that combo price i see no reason to complain

The new i3 already has a built in GPU which handles 1080p well.

i'm guessing it doesn't, I see it nowhere in the description. but as mudkip said the i3 has graphics on chip that are supposed to be plenty powerful for 1080p...

I know it's a bit more power - but it priced cheaper than the celeron system I was looking to build...as you said, at that price plus I will be getting a decent card down the road to do some low end gaming on it...
