They can shove their Dedicated servers, their attempt to undo..., and their "free=suck" standard system up their A**.

I'll keep playing COD4 where i have private servers, as COD MW2, and COD BO should have.

Not a big loss for me. I don't like the direction they are taking, first with MW2 and now with BO, too much planes, crazy knifes, chopers, RC cars, Harriers, Nuclear shit, you end killing more people with that stuff instead of killing people with your gun.

I'll wait for the new Red Orchesta, hope they don't fuck up that one too.

Uhh... A single server provider for a game? Kinda dumb, but that is what Apple did with the iPhone, and it eventually got more providers. At least when a patch comes out all the servers will be updated at the same time!

I am not going to have my own server, remember that. For the players, who cares, it is all the same. For the server providers, uhh, you have to have a damn company do it, vs hosting it yourself or whatnot. I think the game itself looks neat, but I won't get it with all this BS going on. TL;DR, Players need not be worried, clans do.

For me and a lot of people it's not the same, as i don't live in the USA, even if i rent a server my ping will be too high ( that's why i stoped playing BC2), it's that or p2p and p2p sucks, so i'll stay with COD4. And i'm not going to pay monthly for COD or WoW or Starcraft, or any game. Time to begin the quest for the holy MP game that have private servers a no monthly subscription.

I never play any P2P games. WoW is P2P, but COD is not, and Starcraft is not. I don't know where you see this coming from. If you are just a player, don't worry!

I never said starcraft 2 is p2p ( i said you have to pay monthly to play WoW, Stracraft 2, and soon COD BO), COD mw2 is peer to peer, because a player is the host and the others connect to that player when using IW.net.

How can i not worry when all games that are using "dedicated servers" (BC2, Medal of Honor beta, MW2, COD4 (not in PC thanks to private servers) Resistance, Socom 3 and Killzone in my PS3) are unplayable because in all of them i have high ping, but in all the games that have private servers (COD4, Killing Foor, Battlefield 2, etc) i have no problems with ping or lag.

I will probably buy it on ps3 for the free online play but,i may still get it on pc for the hordes/nazi zombie style game mode if thats still free.

Hmmm another cod game that will have less than impressive sales in the pc market. Probably more pirated installs than legitimately paid copies and they will wonder why. I've already forgotten about this game.

And yet they still won't care considering the millions they will rake in with the Console version of the game.

PC gamers are pretty much an after thought to them now a days when it comes to COD.

Yeah and it's been going this way for a few years now. It's not just Activision and the COD series. We just dont get that many awesome PC oriented shooters anymore. Cryisis and Crysis Warhead were the last great PC shooters to offer what we as PC gamers are looking for and now even that series is looking to make the console cash grab.
