Here comes GBuy, bye-bye Ebay?

Google is preparing to launch a system for handling online transactions.
It is yet another small step for Google, on its road to world domination. Welcome to our new overlord.

While some wires are reporting that Google’s GBuy system is set for release on June 28th, others have it on June 25th.

The potential of Google as an online shop has rivals quaking in their virtual boots.

The new system will allow merchants to sign up with Google to become a "trusted GBuy merchant".

"As we've previously announced, we offer users the ability to buy items on Google Base and at the Google Store as well as pay for services like Google AdWords, Google Video and Google Earth."

Forbes reckons that, during the beta phase, Google isn’t going to charge anything for its service. Thereafter, estimates put the Google tax at around an initial 1.5% - 2.0%.

Google plans to dominate the World, using GoogleEarth to monitor people and make sure they use only Google products. It won't be long before it releases its OS.

I'll be saying goodbye to hotmail as soon as GMail is more easily available in the UK.

Do you have any invitations left and do you know if you can invite people in the UK?

The thing is, that one day when we all use Google products and nothing works without them, they will make us pay for them. Maybe not much, but still they will make a hell lot of additional money. Using that money they can efficiently improve their products to make them even better and by doing so beat all the competition, so we wont be independent anymore, because everbody can afford some small money for nice programs that are really useful. Google will advance to some kind of ultra-monopoly in my opinion .

Pffft, I'll stick with what I normally do. I only use google for search engine. Everything else is just pointless in my opinion. I'll stick with Amazon, Newegg, and Paypal.
