I can't waiiiiiiiit for this game next month. I've heard rumor they may even move up the launch date. I still need to get my pre-order in.

Well, some hackers stole it off the MS servers lol (special reviewer copy). But it can only be played on JTAGged consoles.

Maybe MS are bringing the date forward because of this hiccup lol

Ive spoken to people that have played full SP campaign and it is meant to be

Yea I heard about the people that got the downloaded copy and they won't be able to play it on live. The usual block the live account deal from Microsoft. But if this makes them move up the date, to those guys

Modded xboxes are usually banned anyway.
Yeah i heard its gooooooood. People where worried the Single Player would be balls compared to the online but i doubt anyone should worry about it now people have confirmed its good.

Forge seems expanded beyond what it was in Halo 3 looking to try it out! Looks great.

Honestly I was done with Halo after the second one. A futuristic space type shooter with aliens didn’t have space combat so I was not into it…now that reach has space combat I am interested in the series again.

The online part of halo has always been okay not great but it was always fun enough. it’s only fun if I was playing it on a home lan with friends. Doesn’t have the same type of appeal that most other FPSs do.

I am a huge fan of the Halo world I think the story is great and I watched Halo Legends and enjoyed it.

It’s nice that a simple addition made me want to play again!

I'm not very good at fps console games. I'm too stuck on the mouse and kb but I admit that this game has me interested. I own Halo 3 for my 360 but I have never played it. I may load it up if the story is worth playing through before playing reach.

Halo 3 is long and worth every moment you spend on it,i would say its the best of the 3 out

Wrong, firmeware modded consoles only get banned once a year (usually around the time of the yearly COD release). They never get insta-banned. The only consoles that get insta-banned are JTAG modified ones. But anyone going online with those are idiots.

I played the beta. Absolutely EPIC multiplayer. My cousin and I sat on the couch for 12 HOURS straight playing the SAME GAMETYPE on the SAME MAP. It's that damn good.

Halo 3 was good online with mates at the time, then i enjoyed ODST and fire fight but i never bought it i just borrowed it for a few weeks.

Reach should be great, if it takes me back to the feeling Halo had because i absolutely loved that online on the pc the second game i didnt like so much but 3 was good at the time.

Reach has JETPACKS!

Hookey i dont understand what a non perma ban is? Is it just the account or for a certain period? Perma ban they ban the console i know that.

There are different levels of bannings. Just say you have a fw modified 360 to play backups. During the year MS do some kind of 'check' and if your system is picked up as modified by MS it will get 'flagged'. These checks could be done in April (for example) then when they release a major dash update (usually around November every year, to coincide with the next CoD release) they start to run these 'checks' again and any flagged system that comes back as suspect again, are banned. But thats only your console, not your GamerTag (so most people wait for the banwave to end, in January of the following year usually) and just get a new console, mod it and recover their GamerTag on that new console (or just pop their old HDD on a new console)

Now, JTAG consoles are completely different. As these are seen as very bad in the eyes of MS (you cant blame them really because with one of these consoles you can get EVERYTHING off XBLA for FREE and run game iso's from an external HDD....amongst other things) if you are caught online with one of those, the console will be insta-banned, no flagging or waiting for a banwave, your console is banned within a few hours.

Recently though, MS have been coming down hard on hackers using JTAGged consoles online (which is crazy anyway) and have been banning their GamerTags so they lose all DLC linked to that GamerTag.

The trouble is, most people with JTAGged consoles that use them online dont really care about being banned because by the time they have been banned, theyve made a lot of cash already by running pay-to-play lobbies on Modern Warfare 2 (where people pay say £10 to join but will instantly be upgraded to 10 Prestige lvl 70.....sad I know)

PS: some people pull there modified consoles offline just before the banwave, then reconnect in January. But this is pointless, because if your console is on the 'to be banned list' already, the second you go back online with that console, its banned.

I got hold of a copy early (thanks to a m8 that works in a certain store) and I have to say "so far so good!".

You may not be MC in it, but it plays more like the original Halo trilogy and not like ODST

I played the MP beta. The grenade launcher is awesome. I took out two banshees with its EMP function.

I didnt bother playing the beta, but i did hear it was very good. Ive never really been into Halo MP, I just love the campaign mode tbh Actually, come to think of it, I did enjoy Firefight on ODST.

I did really enjoy it and think its a great addition to the HALO franchise.....but, Game Of The Year material? No way, thats obviously going to be Call of Duty - Black ops, or quite possibly, Dead Rising 2 (my money is on CoD )

I got it midnight when it came out.. Pretty effing amazing so far. Firefight is nice and smooth, they got all the bugs from ODST out it seems. The new game modes, Headhunter & Invasion are extremely fun. Annnd I love the idea of jet packs!

The Campaign could better, it's kind of dull, but the Multiplayer is defiantly great..

Reach is the best Halo yet IMO. Campaign is as good as you can get when the only thing you do is shoot waves of enemies essentially. Multiplayer is WAY more fast paced than H3, New game types are awesome. Sound is amazing, and the guns actually sound like guns, rather than BB pistols like they did in H3, and Kills are very satisfying (i know thats completely subjective.. but things like that do matter. It feels like combat rather than paintball) Lots of guns with flashy lights and big explosions, if that matters to you. Forge is amazing, forgeworld is MORE amazing!
