780W PSU crazy deal

like 65-70% off I think.

hec XPOWER780 600W(780W Peak) ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V...

I dont get it though it says

Maximum Power
600W(780W Peak)

what does that mean exactly. On the other page is says 780W CONTINUOUS POWER. but there is says 600W and 780W Peak.

HEC, not too good, they skimp on caps and other components, may be alright, ratings are always an issue, assume it is 600W PSU, i wouldnt trust it past that...

Don't expect too much from this PSU. I bought it about a year ago and was shocked how light/flimsy it was. I put it my brothers rig powering a X1950XT and it's still running i guess(because he has not call me to fix it yet).

Good for builds that have gpu's with low power requirements. If you want to talk about HEC, look into there Cougar series.

Hmm well based on the comments here the only "shocker" to me is that it's originally $99.

Terrible PSU....I'd far rather have a Corsair VX450w/550w or an Antec TPN 550w
